Our program for this age group includes language development, exposure to art media, music, finger plays and large muscle activities. Independent life skills including self-feeding and potty training will be closely coordinated between parents and staff. Outdoor play for the young children takes place in our fence-enclosed, sheltered play area.

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE From Kindergarten through Age 12
Wee Care provides before and after school care. When school is in session, all before-school children will have the option of being served breakfast and transportation will be provided to Okawville Grade School as well ILS. Those children enrolled in the after-school program will be
picked up from school in the Wee Care bus. A snack will be provided. Games, toys, arts, crafts, computers, and outside playground equipment are available. If requested, Wee Care staff will assist your children in completing their homework.
During the summer, Wee Care provides full-time care Monday-Friday for all children ages 15 months – 12 years. Activities include arts and crafts, story time, indoor free play and outside play. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are served to all children with daily naptime for children age 5 and under. (A few weeks before school begins, the staff will transition the 5-year-olds out of naptime to prepare for Kindergarten.) Extra-curricular activities in the summer include outdoor water play, field trips, walks to the park, special craft days, movies and theme-weeks. Wee Care encourages outside play when weather appropriate.
